A SlateDesign Translucent stone veneer tile, combined with backlighting, makes for a highly attractive finish on furniture, bars, walls, shop windows, and displays. It’s composed of a layer of extraordinarily thin layer of clay slate, mica slate or sandstone at the front and a special, glass fibre reinforced, translucent synthetic resin substrate layer at the back.
Utterly unique visual effects can be attained by varying the intensity and colour of the backlighting, and with no lighting, it offers a completely natural stone effect with LiteStone stone veneer tiles. Up till now, only the prohibitively expensive onyx and alabaster were suited to having their intrinsic patterns accentuated by means of backlighting, but SlateDesign Translucent stone veneer tiles have made this unique spectacle available in 24 different textures.
