Krúdy Residential Park is located in the inner city green belt of Szombathely, which is both modern and practical. The blueprint of the 39-apartment residential complex built in phase 1 featured an elegant facade, but, due to the large surface area, cost effectiveness was also important. The solution was the Copper New structure LiteStone ultra-thin mica slate cladding which has a brilliant coppery gleam that makes a special impression on its setting.
The installation of the 2mm thick, 1.5-1.7 kg / m2 mica slate tiles took place fairly swiftly – contrary to what would have been expected in the case of conventional, thick, fitted stone veneer solutions.
The surfaces are protected from water and oil/grease pollution by SDA Nano Effect impregnating agent. This process also protects the stone surfaces from contaminants resulting from construction and technical processes, and subsequently makes the facade cladding self-cleaning.
